1 Step Closer
Well this morning was fast and furious. But I had one bright moment out of everything that went on today. That was the discovery of how easily it was to get the DJ position out here. I was told that I needed to just head down and speak with the manager of the cafe. Then after that I should be able to get the position since so many of the people who were DJing have gone back to the states. So I called my buddy in Atlanta and he's going to be sending my CD's out here. So here's to hope.

DJ Job Hunting
How's it going? I've been here in Kuwait since the 5th of April. Currently I'm trying to get a DJing gig with the MWR located here at Arifjan, but I'm not having any luck at the moment. I've been studying up on creating my own tracks since the camp doesn't really have that many activities as a regular post. I've also taken an interest in creating my own internet radio station. Hopefully when I get back to Atlanta I can start it up. It seems to be pretty simple according to the issue of Computer Music that I bought. It basically requires me to get a version of Winamp and to go from there.
I recently bought a digital video camera which hopefully will allow me to record any future gigs and trips that I participate in. The primary use of the camera will be for when I take my trip to Europe next year (hey better to be ready now than never) and I'm going to make a movie of all the places, sights, and people my wife and I meet. If you know of any good spots to visit in Europe please let me know. I've been getting many e-guides but word of mouth is always helpful as well.
